Stoneridge Employee Victorious at Pirelli Tour of Cumbria Rally
A huge congratulations to Stoneridge employee and rally co-driver Pete McLean. Pete, with his team-mate driver David Newall and their Stoneridge-Sponsored Mitsubishi Lancer EVO 8, won the arduous Pirelli Tour of Cumbria 2011 at Kielder Water (29th to 30th April).

The OPTAC Website has a new look!
We've recently redesigned the OPTAC website (http://www.optac.info) to feature more product information on the home page, and make finding the right OPTAC product quicker and easier.
The site includes a brand new Product Selector, which will ask you a few simple questions, and then recommend suitable OPTAC3 products to you.

OPTAC3 Video Tutorials are now online
Stoneridge Electronics have produced a range of short video tutorials, aimed at new users of OPTAC3 Tachograph Analysis Software. These are free for all to use, and cover subjects such as Viewing Infringements, Driver and Vehicle Data and Reports, and Installing and Using the OPTAC3 Import Wizard.
If you have recently signed up for the 30 day free trial, or have purchased OPTAC3, these tutorials will quickly get you started using the software.
Tutorials are available in English, and we will be putting other languages online over the coming weeks.

Stoneridge Wins Highways Agency Contract
Stoneridge are proud to announce that they have won a contract with the Highways Agency to provide Tachograph Analysis hardware and software, including their new analysis software OPTAC3, for use by the police.
Part of the Highways Agency’s responsibility is to make roads safer and journeys more reliable, and one way they do this is through providing the police with state of the art equipment so they can check tachograph compliance. They therefore required a reliable package that allows road side checks to be made easily and accurately.
The OPTAC3 package for analogue/digital analysis, along with the digifobpro download tool, fitted the bill. Although only launched in April 2009 OPTAC3 has proven itself to be flexible and easy to use with excellent Drivers Hours analysis.
